The MSI Katana 15 HX (B14WFK-112IN) is the i9 version of the Katana 15 HX, built around the Intel® Core™ i9-14900HX with 24 cores, 32 threads and up to 5.8 GHz. It’s paired with an NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 5060 Laptop GPU (8 GB GDDR7) running at up to 115 W.
The 15.6-inch screen is QHD (2560 × 1440) at 165 Hz with 100% DCI-P3 colour, sharper than the usual Full HD panel and good for photo and video work too. You get 16 GB of DDR5 on one stick, so a slot is free (up to 96 GB supported). Storage is a 1 TB PCIe Gen4 SSD in the only M.2 slot, so you start with plenty of room. Ports include HDMI 2.1, USB-C with DisplayPort and charging, three USB-A and Gigabit LAN. It weighs 2.4 kg with a 75 Wh battery and a 240 W charger.
MSI gives a 2-year on-site warranty on this model (on-site service in selected regions). It covers manufacturing defects, not physical, burn or liquid damage.
