Good to know
The RT-AX86U Pro works with most Bangalore broadband because it supports PPPoE, automatic IP and static IP. Expect real speeds below AX5700, since that figure adds both bands together and walls, distance and your plan bring it down. Older phones and laptops connect fine, but only WiFi 6 devices get the full benefit. You can use the USB ports to share a hard drive or plug in a 4G dongle as backup internet.

- Real speeds are lower than AX5700. That number is the total of both bands. Walls, distance and your plan decide what you actually get.
- WiFi 6 needs WiFi 6 devices for the full benefit. Older phones and laptops still connect and work fine.
- USB ports let you share a hard drive on the network or plug in a 4G dongle as backup internet.
