Common ASUS motherboard faults
A shorted MOSFET or capacitor on the main power rail is behind most dead ASUS laptops with no charging light. On a Zenbook that won’t charge over USB-C, the cause is usually the port or the charging controller. ROG and TUF models with fans spinning and no display point to a GPU rail or solder joints, and freezing on soldered RAM often means a failed memory chip. Tea or water on the keyboard corrodes the chips nearby, which we clean in an ultrasonic cleaner.
